I’m disappointed because I badly, desperately wanted to like this one, but ultimately it just wasn’t for me.įirst, a quick summary of the premise to set the stage for my points below. While it’s true that I have not read many books by Kate Elliott, I still feel pretty confident when I say this is not her best.
